COLUMBUS, Ohio – Corporate One Federal Credit Union, a leading provider of financial products and services to the credit union industry, today announced that it will host the third annual Credit Union Enterprise Wide Risk Management (EWRM) Conference next June 16-17, 2009 at the Swissotel Chicago.
The conference is open to “C” level executives interested in learning more about the importance of EWRM, how it has become a critical business function and how it can be successfully implemented at credit unions of any asset size. Nearly 50 credit union members from 18 states attended the 2008 conference, which boasted NCUA Vice Chairman Rodney Hood as the featured speaker.Additional details about the 2009 conference, including speakers and agenda, will be forthcoming early next year.
EWRM aggregates and organizes all processes and functions within an organization to better allow organizations to leverage its activities for the benefit of its customers/members, as well as to ensure that all risks are accounted for and properly evaluated. It is the governance process associated with the management of risk.
