60 certifications earned during Corporate One’s “Harvest Your Learning” promo

Corporate One recently wrapped up its second Training Certification Program promotion of the year, “Harvest Your Learning,” which ran from October 1-November 30. We are proud to say the promotion was another success, with 47 employees from 10 credit unions completing a record 60 certification levels.

In addition to offering a $5 Starbucks gift card for being certified in a level, participants were also incented to “refer a friend/co-worker” to help grow the training program. During this promotional period, five staff members from Fire Police City County FCU, Ft. Wayne, IN, referred an impressive 26 co-workers—all of who became certified in “CU Fundamentals.” Karen Magers of Hometown CU, Peru, IN, also referred two employees that completed ACH and ACE – levels 1.

We’re also happy to announce that Jamie Hoke of Chiphone CU, Elkhart, IN, was the winner of the Corporate One prize basket during “Harvest Your Learning.” Jamie completed two certification levels in the month of November! The year-end drawing for an iPod, a camcorder or a blu-ray DVD player will take place at the beginning of January once the final tracking for 2010 has been completed. Everyone who has been certified at least once during the year will be entered into the drawing.

Overall, 2010 has brought great accomplishment to our Training Certification Program. To date, more than 80 individuals have completed 160 certification levels. We are thrilled with the level of participation and support, and look forward to new webinars and new participants in 2011. Webinars on the horizon include “Cash Management” (MemberView – level 2), “Share Draft Fraud” (CU Fundamentals – level 1) and an “Enterprise Wide Risk Management” series as well as webinars on debit and credit.
