New features enhance DebitAdvantage stats reports
PSCU recently announced that the November 2011 release for DebitAdvantage stats report includes three new features:
New Interchange Data
PSCU Financial Services and NYCE have jointly developed a secure mechanism for including that network’s interchange data in the DebitAdvantage® Stats report. The report will include all PIN POS and ATM interchange amounts that the NYCE Network settles directly with our member-owner credit unions. You will be able to see up to six months of historical NYCE interchange data to allow for better Interchange income tracking and historical analysis. This enhancement will not be part of the updates on your October report released by November 15th. We will be releasing an updated version of your October DebitAdvantage report that will include this data, before the November report is published (December 15th).
New Interchange Charts
To enable member-owner credit unions to track any impacts of Regulation II (Durbin Amendment) on POS Interchange, we have created two new charts that depict your historical POS interchange yield. Under the “ICG Charts” tab, you will find two charts that track your cardholder-generated POS interchange. Beginning with your October reports, you can view the charts by Network (NYCE, PULSE, STAR, VISA, etc.) and Transaction Type (PIN or SIG), or you can choose to view the data as aggregated values.
In the current DebitAdvantage Stats report, there is a one-month delay when reporting PIN POS Interchange for the following networks – Accel/Exchange, CU24/CUHERE, Interlink and Pulse. Beginning with your October reports, that delay will no longer exist and all data will be available for the most recent reporting period.
DebitAdvantage Stats Report provides complete details on the following PIN networks:
CHINA UNION PAY
If you participate in any PIN Networks that are not listed above, the interchange for those Networks bypasses First Data and PSCU Financial Services and is settled directly to your credit union. Therefore, interchange data from these networks are not visible to PSCU Financial Services and are not provided in your DebitAdvantage Stats report. However, the report will reflect transactional activity from the networks, such as number of transactions, sales volume, etc. So, when obtaining the interchange totals from your DebitAdvantage Stats report, bear in mind that that you also need to include the total interchange amount settled directly to you by those networks.
