OneWire training materials coming in November
In June, Corporate One was pleased to announce we will be implementing OneWire, a new wire transfer processing platform for both domestic and international wires, on December 5. With the implementation of this new platform now on the horizon, training materials will be available in November for your credit union’s authorized wire users to reference as they learn how to use the new system.
We are developing the following training resources to ensure all OneWire users are able to use the new system confidently and competently:
- OneWire User Manual—A comprehensive manual addressing all aspects of OneWire, including user account maintenance, processing payments, creating templates, running reports and conducting searches
- Using OneWire for the First Time: Overview, Initial Sign-on and Basics Webinar—Introductory webinar highlighting the features and benefits of OneWire, how users can access and exit the system, among other basic system facts. Additionally, this webinar reviews how and when a user should use the caller-initiated password and PIN
- OneWire Password Maintenance Webinar—One of OneWire’s benefits is that users can manage their own passwords. This training webinar answers commonly asked password maintenance questions, including how users change their password and what to do if/when a user becomes “locked out” of OneWire
- OneWire Daily Domestic Payment Processing Webinar—Training webinar for users processing domestic wire transfers, including how to modify and verify payments as well as create templates for recurring domestic wires
- OneWire Daily International (FX) Payment Processing Webinar—While similar in many respects to processing domestic wire transfers, this training webinar highlights the steps users take to process FX wires, including template creation and modifying and verifying payments
- OneWire Research and Reporting Webinar—This webinar outlines how users can conduct searches on specific wires and/or groups of wires, and highlights how users can take advantage of OneWire’s reporting capabilities
We will inform all wire users when the materials become available. Users will be able to download and access the user manual and on-demand webinar trainings from the “OneWire” section of the “Show Member Forms” menu in MemberView®. Users will also be able to access these downloads on Corporate One’s Security Token Portal page at mvportal.corporateone.coop.
As a reminder, wire users will not be able to access OneWire until its live date on December 5. Additionally, all wire users need a security token to conduct wires on the new system, so please verify that all of your credit union’s wire users have a Corporate One security token. Should you have users that need to obtain a token, simply complete and return the “Token Request, Replacement, Return Form” found in MemberView. Training materials for security tokens can also be downloaded from Corporate One’s Security Token Portal page at the aforementioned URL.
Should you have any questions about the upcoming transition, please contact Member Services at 866/MyCorp1 (866/692-6771).
