Access to ACH system being enhanced at the
end of October
Change includes select employee group ACH processors
Over the last two years, there has been a rise in ACH fraud attempts against credit unions. Some of these attempts have resulted in credit union losses while others have been “close calls;” and both have served as sobering reminders to our industry that we must remain vigilant in our risk mitigation efforts surrounding our ACH systems. Domestic wire PINs sent to CEOs mid-September
Corporate One issued its annual domestic wire PIN mailing to CEOs at respective member credit unions using domestic wires. This mailing included individually sealed envelopes for each authorized wire user at the credit union. Within the envelope, each user should find their PIN for the next year, and a PIN acknowledgement form. READ MORE + |

Although the National Bureau of Economic Research officially declared this week that the Great Recession ended last June, the news hardly impressed either Wall Street or Main Street. For Jane Q. Public, the announcement must have seemed like a fairy tale, one concocted in the ivory tower by academics with little connection to the reality of every day life.
