Training Certification Program is flexible, convenient

By: Hillarie Michaels and Liz Sauer, Corporate One’s Training and Events team

Hillarie MichaelsCorporate One's Training Certification Program (TCP) is designed to allow member credit union employees to become more proficient on the solutions most relevant to their daily job duties through our complimentary, on-demand trainings. Best of all, we acknowledge users for completing each respective training level with a certificate of completion. It’s the perfect solution if you’re looking to develop staff professionally and/or train new staff on the products Corporate One offers.

2011 - A Year In Review

  • 282 credit unions using TCP
  • 273 TCP certifications obtained through 12/31/11
  • 88 new credit unions certified in at least one level during 2011
  • 7 new TCP webinars added during 2011
  • 34 webinars available for certification in TCP

We have grouped our training webinars into expertise areas for our members so they may track their success and become more knowledgeable on several of our most popular products. Members can launch any of the 34 on-demand training webinars currently available from any active Web browser. The trainings can be viewed 24 hours a day, seven days a week in categories, such as ACH, ACE, Risk and others. Due to the continuous availability of the on-demand training webinars, employees can learn at their own pace. And, we work diligently to add new content throughout the year to ensure our offerings remain fresh.

To help keep track of employees’ progress, the TCP guestbook captures all of the participant’s information when they complete a training session.  Upon completion of a product level(s), Corporate One sends a certificate of accomplishment to the staff member and an email notification to the staff member’s supervisor acknowledging the accomplishment. Corporate One records and maintains every credit union’s participation in the TCP making it readily available to our members so they can keep track of their staff’s participation to reward them internally.

As you can see from the statistics to the right, the TCP has become a vital training and professional development resource for many of our members. We couldn’t be more pleased with the success of this program. A complete listing of available webinars and certification levels can be found on our Web site, www.corporateone.coop, under the “Events” menu. We encourage your credit union to join in the education movement and take advantage of the opportunities Corporate One provides to expand your staff’s expertise.
