March 25, 2016 -- More than 150 credit unions tapped into the 2015 BSA/AML and OFAC training presented by Corporate One and Professional Bank Services (ProBank), and we hope you will take advantage of our annual training this year, too. And for those of you who sign up by April 4, you’ll receive an early-bird discount.

“But wait,” you might be thinking. “It feels like I just finished my 2015 BSA training.”

That may be true, but BSA/AML and OFAC training is an area where it’s definitely important to stay current every year. And for many credit union professionals, yearly education is required. It probably goes without saying that recent Congressional focus and well-publicized BSA enforcement actions and fines continue to support a climate where BSA compliance remains of paramount importance to all financial institutions.

And, there are some new topics being featured in the training this year, such as beneficial ownership and how to conduct new member due diligence, including tips on training your credit union’s BSA board volunteer(s).

Take advantage of the live presentation and on-demand learning options

These two, three-hour webinars will update you on current issues of interest and concern in the area of BSA/AML compliance. This seminar complements existing internal education/status sessions to meet the annual BSA training requirements for employees of credit unions, and it allows time for questions from participants.

New just last year, Corporate One is once again bringing back our on-demand learning offering. You can train so many employees with this option. For example, three credit unions used the 2015 on-demand training option in their staff meetings and spaced the education out. And each attendee got a certificate of completion.

Get your training done now to worry less later

Getting your BSA/AML training done and providing examiners proof that you completed it is just one less thing you’ll have to worry about for the rest of the year. If you’re involved in BSA/AML compliance and Suspicious Activity Reporting, or if you are a BSA officer, compliance officer, operations staff, front-line team member, senior and executive management or audit staff, then this training is for you. See the chart below for details on registration.
