Giving back: The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program

Giving back to the community during the holidays is important to our Corporate One family. Once again this year, our corporate offices participated in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which provides Christmas gifts for children ages 0-12 whose families have proven financial hardship. These are kids who, without the generosity of people in our community, might not otherwise receive gifts.

In Columbus, Ohio, 105 toys were purchased and donated.

Our Jacksonville, Florida, office adopted 26 angels (up from 20 in 2017). Each child received a gift bag with a complete outfit, including a jacket, pants, shirt, shoes, socks, and underwear, along with an age-appropriate toy. According to the Salvation Army, these children were in particular need of clothing this year as many of the children who applied were from families who lost everything due to Hurricane Michael and have temporarily relocated to the First Coast.

We look forward to supporting the Angel Tree Program again in 2019.
