Stabilizing the financial markets during COVID-19: A timeline of decisions

The World Health Organization first detected the new virus that would come to be known as COVID-19 in December of 2019. Ever since the virus was first detected in the U.S. and declared a global pandemic, significant decisions have been made rapidly by the U.S. government and legislators to try and stabilize the negative financial impacts of the pandemic.
