New enhancements to the Investment and Funding Dashboard

By: Jeff Duesler, Senior Investment Services Representative

Based on our members’ ongoing feedback, Corporate One has provided further enhancements to the Investment & Funding Dashboard, which was launched in 2018. The dashboard gives members the ability to view a consolidated summary of their credit union’s Corporate One balances, including deposits, SimpliCD and Safekeeping holdings, and loan balances in a convenient format.

Recently, we’ve added several new features to the dashboard. Here’s what’s new.

How to access the dashboard

The dashboard is available to all Corporate One members with Member$MART authority to access Member$MART online, Account Inquiry and e-Reports. This authority can be extended to additional personnel at your credit union by completing pages 2-4 on the User Authorization Form. Please contact Member Experience at 866/MyCorp1 with any questions.

Reverse Inquiry

This feature allows you to communicate directly with your investment representative and our investment department on your investing/funding needs. For example, perhaps after the recent Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting in March, you realized that rising interest rates might be on hold for the foreseeable future. So, you might want to look for five-year-and-under, average-life CMOs and mortgage backed securities with a yield of 3.10% or higher and an extension risk of less than 1.5 years in the base, like a recent inquiry.

Conversely, you might want to look at term-loan rates, PMA issuance rates, and SImpliCD issuance rates to build a diversified funding ladder.

Quick Links

Convenient links to Member$mart, SimpliCD Online, Corporate One’s daily rates, and the current market commentary provided by Corporate One are now easily accessible.

Members who use the dashboard agree that it has been a great tool to manage their balances and to see where things stand from an overall “macro” standpoint. We hope our members continue to find value in this application, and we look forward to your feedback as we release future enhancements.
