In July, we celebrated our third annual Connection Days at the Corporate One headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This in-person staff event brings everyone together in one place for three days to connect, build relationships, and receive important company updates, all while having some fun.
This year’s theme, “Innovate to Elevate,” embodied our commitment to continuous improvement and envisioning ever-evolving new solutions. We reflected on past and present innovative milestones and celebrated the spark of creativity for future progress.
Here are a few of this year’s highlights, featuring some of your favorite staff members at Corporate One.

President and CEO Melissa Ashley presented a mid-year update on company performance and goals. We also recognized staff members for milestone events and discussed current and future business objectives. Chief Member Engagement Officer Christine Mayes (on the far right in the second photo below) led a panel discussion with staff on how Corporate One has delivered innovative solutions for our members over the years.
Empowering Communities: Credit Union Impact Dialogue
Jessica Jones (on the left in both photos below) from Universal 1 Credit Union talked with Member Success Executive Jen Leu about how Universal 1 benefits its community and how Corporate One’s support enhances its mission. Forbes recently named Universal 1 as one of Ohio's top credit unions.
Step Up & Serve: Volunteer Opportunity
Staffers joined together to assemble dog beds and toys for a local pet shelter, providing comfort and enrichment to animals experiencing anxiety as they wait for adoption. It was a meaningful way to support our community and bring some joy to pets in need.
“Zoo-tastic” Office Adventure
The Columbus Zoo made our day brighter and brought smiles to everyone’s faces with some special animal visitors.
Business As Usual, But Better
Of course, Connection Days wasn’t all fun and games. Our teams kept working hard and carried on with business as usual, balancing educational sessions with enjoyable moments.
